Review

Nicola May is known for her relatable characters who fit perfectly into their stories. This was no exception, though I won’t say it was my favorite of her works. I enjoyed her exploration of how disruptive a chronic disease diagnosis can be to daily life. The novel has many mature scenes and themes, so it’s not for the casual reader in search of family-friendly fair.
